My adventure with Allied Adventure Travel started the moment I walked out the door of Kathmandu Airport. We were greeted by the beaming smiles of Rashmi the owner and our guide, who we would later find out would spend the whole 3-week hike with us. We were given a garland of welcoming flowers to wear which made us feel instantly welcome and showed us a glimpse of what we would later find out to be the welcoming hospitality that the Nepali people seem to have in abundance. I was signed on to hike the Annapurna Circuit and after being brought to a very nice and adequate hotel that Allied had organized for us, we were invited to the office to meet further members of the team. From the word go we were treated like friends or family, All my questions of the country, culture or the plan for the hike was answered clearly and sincerely. All the arrangements before starting the hike were organized by Rasmi and her father right up until the walking itself ( that was up to me!). We were even taken into town to local shops to pick up and extra equipment that they had advised we would need. The walk Itself is still and will forever be one of my most treasured times. The terrain is breathtakingly beautiful, We ate slept and walked in some of the most incredible places and I aimed to hold on to the memories of those places as long as I can because they are so special to me. I couldn't recommend Nepal enough to people who wish to see the beauty of the mountains up close. And I couldn't recommend Allied adventure enough to help you organize the adventure of a lifetime. You will not regret it!
We have been in Nepal for two times and enjoyed traveling in the mountains. The Annapurna-trek was amazing and the Manaslu-trek, too. Rashmi and her father organized the hotel in Kathmandu, the trek, and the guide. They were very friendly and helped us with every need we had. Great experience. lonely nature and amazing views.
