Overview

Beginning at the top of the Peak Chair on Whistler Mountain, Top of the World will take you through Whistler's insane alpine environment on tacky smooth single track filled with built up berms, switchback corners, and fun flowy descents along the way. The trail winds its way down the back side of Whistler Mountain, dipping into areas not even open for skiing in the winter.

Itinerary

Day 1: Vancouver to Whistler shuttle

If you are traveling from far away, it is recommended to arrive at least a day early to help you adjust to the time zone and to avoid any luggage or flight delay complications. You will be picked at the airport or at a designated meeting point and drive you to Whistler, where you will move into your accommodation for the duration of this program. After you get settled, you will have a short briefing followed by a dinner in town and a relaxed time spent together to get to know each other. Alternatively, you can organize your own arrival to Whistler and join Bike Hire Tours whenever it suits you best.

Day 2: Warm up in Whistler trails

Time to set up your bikes and hit the first trails. A part of this day is a skills and safety check and training. Then, your guide will introduce you to the most common trails and rules in the area. Welcome to a MTB paradise. Let the show begin!

Day 3: Bike park

If you’ve been here before, you won’t need any introductions. Bike Hire Tours is counting on you to lose yourself in the world’s biggest and best bike park and they won’t be in your way. If you haven’t been here before, you’ve finally made it, to what most DH bikers consider a must visit destination at least once in their lifetime - and you will learn why! Take a big breath and hit any trail level you feel comfortable with. You are in for a day where the quality of memories is measured in a huge amount of vertical feet you are bound to conquer.

Day 4: Pemberton trail exploration

Pemberton is a town with a unique character, very different to the one of Whistler, even though it is only 30 minutes’ drive away. Endless trails of all difficulties in this area make it a dream for any enduro enthusiast. Choice of trails is all up to you. As there is plenty of options, the experienced local guide will help you accommodate your skill level, needs, and wishes.

Day 5: Mount Seymour

Tour type: AM (all -mountain-enduro)

This is the day you’ll learn firsthand why Vancouver constantly tops the most livable cities of the world lists. You’ll hit Vancouver’s own little piece of MTB heaven. In fact, this area and its riders played a key role in early modern mountain bike development. Mount Seymour makes your guides’ favorite list and they can’t wait to show you a part of the area that most other guided tours miss.

Day 6: Squamish trail

Squamish, a town where glacier-covered mountains rise just above the ocean, is a breath-taking destination that is quickly becoming an outdoor sports capital of Canada. Biking stunning trails of Squamish will offer views of Mount Garibaldi volcano, Stawamus Chief, the second largest granite monolith in the world that attracts world’s best climbers, and the Howe Sound at the mouth of Squamish River, a kite surfing mecca for Vancouverites.

Day 7: Top of The World trail
