There are so many different cycling routes and climbs, so no matter how many times you visit, every week is different and there is always something new to explore. Cycle through the French Alps and you will find delight in the mountain views, charming villages, beautiful waterfalls, pretty wildflowers, and lovely valleys that you see along the way.
You will be provided four nights of accommodation at the Chalet Albatross. Chalet Albatross has a central Morzine location with amazing town and mountain views, en-suite bedrooms, comfortable beds, secure bike storage, relaxing lounge area, swim spa, sauna, laundry, and Wi-Fi. The facilities for training and exercise are second to none. The Olympic-sized outdoor pool and 25-meter indoor pool is a huge drawcard.
The cycling schedule is carefully planned to suit the needs of the participants and can be adjusted to suit all levels of cycling ability. For those looking to ride further or longer, there are always options to make this happen.

Rise and shine for breakfast of maybe scrambled eggs or pancakes. Enjoy a coffee from the beans to the cup coffee machine, and then head out on the bike, taking in the stunning scenery along the way, and tackle a col or two.
Take a photo at the top of the mountain, stop for a coffee, or maybe some lunch. Finally, you will return to the chalet and soothe your tired legs in the hot tub and sauna. Finish the day with a delicious meal in the comfort of the chalet.

Triathlon is Amelia’s passion. A former triathlete, she retired from top level competition in 2012 having experienced success as an age group and professional triathlete. She has trained for triathlon for over 20 years and having spent time training and racing all over the world in Sprint, Olympic, Long Course and Ironman events. Her studies and Bachelor Degree in Education from the University of Tasmania, Performance Level Triathlon accredited coach qualification from Triathlon Australia combined her race experience put you in the hands of a great coach.
Cycling & Fitness are Joe’s passion. A former Australian Rules Footballer and state level cricketer, Joe has experienced most sports, with one of the most memorable being completing the Route des Grandes Alps on his bike. He has also and completed 2 Ironman’s and numerous Half Ironman and Olympic Distance triathlon. Joe, not one for sitting still, has race directed countless triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon events in the past. Joe studied a Bachelor of Human Movement and achieved First Class Honours for his thesis on The Psychology of Sportsmanship.
This cycling holiday will be held in Morzine, France. Local climbs that you will conquer include Col du Joux Plane, Col de la Ramaz, Col de Joux Verte, Avoriaz, Col du Corbier, and many more.
Buzz Cycling chose Morzine as their home for Buzz because throughout their sporting travels, they had not found anywhere else quite like it. The town has a relaxed and spacious feel, with gorgeous chalets, alpine trees, and mountains all around. In the summer, it is decked out with hanging baskets of flowers and is picture perfect.
Lac Montriond and Lac Les Gets are stunning locations, as well as many other beauties.
The cost of the packages includes daily breakfast and dinner. Chez Toi cook up a storm in the Chalet Albatross kitchen, as well as fresh, healthy, and delicious meals. You will be served lovely coffee all day, as well as afternoon tea treats.

Throughout the holiday, you can take some time to yourself, or perhaps take a stroll through Morzine or along the river. There are also 12 tennis courts, a skate board park, an indoor ice skating rink, summer luge, ski lifts that run in the summer for walkers and bikers, and a whole range of other activities if you are looking for something else to do.
The location of Morzine also makes it an ideal base for exploring the greater Portes du Soleil area. Within an hour’s drive and well worth a visit is the beautiful town of Annecy, the medieval town of Yvoire on the shore of Lake Geneva, the thermal springs at Lavey Les Bains, and Chamonix where a trip up the Aiguille Du Midi is a must.
