Grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore Greece through cycling its most scenic routes. In this cycling holiday, you will be provided 10 nights of accommodation in four-star and five-star hotels. The itinerary is designed so that most hotel stays are two to three nights long. Five nights of lodging are in luxury class hotels, while five nights are in A-class hotels.


Day 1: Arrival

In the morning, you will be arriving at the hotel, and by 12:30 p.m, you will be transferred to ancient Corinth for guided village tour and hike through the Acrocorinth. There will be an orientation, and you will spend the night in a five-star luxury class Hotel Alkyon near the Corinthian Gulf.

Day 2: Nemea (36 miles / 58 kilometers)

On this day, you will ride through vineyards to ancient Nemea for guided tour of this athletic and religious site.

Day 3: Mycenae and Epidauros

You will have a tour to archeological sites at Mycenae and Epidauros. Your guide will bring to life the ancient Mycenaeans, chronicled by Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. You will have lunch in Nauplion and enjoy a presentation of the Ancient Greek Theater.

Day 4: Diakofto and Kalavrita (42 miles or 62 miles / 67 kilometers to 99 kilometers)

You will follow Corinthian Gulf to the beach village of Diakofto. You will cycle through scenic cog rail train ride to mountain village Kalavrita.

Day 5: Poseidon Palace (36 miles or 47 miles / 58 kilometers or 75 kilometers)

You will have an exquisite ride through mountain villages to five-star luxury class Poseidon Palace seaside hotel, with a stopover to see the sheep and goats.

Day 6: Zakinthos Island (23 miles / 37 miles)

You will take a ferry to Zakinthos Island for a three-night stay, and in the afternoon, you will ride through vineyards, olive groves, and small villages, with a chance for wine tasting and traditional pottery.

Day 7: Remote regions and spectacular vistas (36 miles or 51 miles / 58 kilometers or 82 kilometers)

Explore remote regions and spectacular vistas, including most photographed overlook in Greece.

Day 8: Keri (35 miles / 56 kilometers)

You will ride across the island for small boat ride to Keri sea caves and have the chance to swim off the boat around the caves. Optional wind surfing and scuba diving is available. (35 miles)

Day 9: Olympia (25 miles or 48 miles / 40 kilometers or 77 kilometers)

You will cycle to Olympia, the site of ancient Olympic Games. You will stay in a splendid 4-star A class Hotel Europa which overlooks the village and the Alphios River.

Day 10: Alphios River to Vassilaki (20 miles or 35 mile / 32 kilometers or 56 kilometers)

In the morning, you will ride past ancient Olympic stadium, along Alphios River to Vassilaki. Glimpse old Greece as you encounter flocks of sheep and goats, as well as old men and women traveling by donkey. In the afternoon, you will have a guided tour of the archeological site and museum at Olympia.

Day 11: Departure

Transfer to Ancient Corinth via the picturesque Peloponnese. Midday arrival and lunch, and then you will get transferred to Corinth train by 01:00 p.m. There is an option to visit archeological ruins in ancient Corinth.

This tour includes use of a customized Trek bicycle, fully equipped for touring. Odometer, trunk bag, map case, lock, and pump are also included.
