Hotel Llegendes, Girona

Hotel Museum Llegendes de Girona is situated in the middle of the old town of Girona City with more than 2000 years of history, right next to the Basilica de Sant Feliu, the Cathedral, the Arab Baths, the river and Girona wall. The building of the hotel is an ancient jewel, where according to the tradition between 304-307 AD lived Narcis, bishop, martyr, saint and patron of Girona City.

Hotel S’Agaro, Sant Feliu de Guixols

S'Agaró Hotel is located in the heart of the Costa Brava, in the exclusive and idyllic bay of S'Agaró, and near the best beaches on the Costa Brava. S'Agaró Hotel is on the beachfront and on the beach of Sant Pol, one of the most privileged places on the Costa Brava.

Hotel Casamar, Llafranc

Hotel Casamar is a small hotel by the sea in Llafranc. It began operating as a hotel in May 1955 when Joan Casellas and Maria Balaguer transformed a summer house from the beginning of the 20th century into a small five-room hotel.

Hotel Arcs, Monells

The Hotel Arcs de Monells, located in the Mas Fàbrega, an old hospital founded in 1364 by the Countess of Empuries, Maria de Xèrica, is one of the most emblematic buildings of this tiny village.

Totally refurbished and fully equipped with the most modern instalations, you'll find exclusive rooms, each one dedicated to a famous historian, musician, architect, painter or writer.


The tour starts in Girona city and winds its way gently through the undulating and ever-changing scenery of the Baix Emporda. All of the cyclings takes place on quiet country roads that are part of the Baix Emporda Cycle Network. The network has been developed to allow cyclists to fully enjoy the splendors of this area.

The tour follows the cycling network for five nights and finishes in the charming medieval village of Monells. Your luggage will be transported for you from hotel to hotel so you can relax and enjoy the cycling to its fullest. The accommodation provided is staying in lovely two, three, or four-star hotels (with optional upgrades upon request), including breakfast with your stay.

Each day’s ride is approximately 40 kilometers and covers terrain that is mostly flat with rolling hills, so you can pace yourself to stop and enjoy the views. Each day, after arriving at your hotel, there are plenty of great cycling options to explore the local areas further. These rides range from 20 to 40 kilometers, so if you have enough energy to see a little more then each area is well worth exploring. You will be provided with detailed maps and route plans to help you on your way.


Day 1 - Arrival in Girona

Explore the medieval center of this beautiful city.

Day 2 - Sant Feliu de Guixols (40 kilometers / 25 miles)

Riding the Carrilet - the converted railway from Girona to the coast.

Day 3 - Sant Feliu de Guixols (50 kilometers / 31 miles)

The coastal ride from Sant Feliu to Tossa de Mar is rated as possibly the best ride in the entire region, for its stunning views and mix of climbs and downhills - simply unforgettable!

Day 4 - Llafranc (30 kilometers / 19 miles)

Following the beautiful coastal route through fields and forests of pine and cork trees to Llafranc.

Day 5 - Llafranc (30 kilometers / 19 miles)

Exploring the beautiful bays of Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, and Tamariu.

Day 6 - Monells (40 kilometers / 25 miles)

Meandering through the charming medieval villages of the Baix Emporda.

Day 7 - Monells (40 kilometers / 25 miles)

Exploring more of the medieval villages following the Baix Emporda cycle network.

Day 8 - Departure to Girona (30 kilometers / 19 miles)

Girona, with the option to cycle up and over the challenging and stunning Els Angels monastery route that is one of the favorite rides of many of the pro riders who live in Girona.

Cycle touring

The new Radon Scart 7.0 is the ideal touring bike for the combination of roads and cycle trails you will encounter. Equipped with the ever-reliable Shimano Deore drivetrain, Shimano disc brakes and a Suntour suspension fork, the Scart has a comfortable riding position and a triple (48/36/26) chainset - perfect for long days enjoying the delights of the region.

All bikes come equipped with puncture repair kit, spare inner tube, water bottle, pannier (cycle touring) and helmet.


Map reading skills are an essential component of this self-guided holiday and you are responsible for repairing a flat tire en-route.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please booking your flight to arrive at Barcelona International Airport (BCN). Direct fast trains run hourly throughout the day from Barcelona to Girona.

It is a 10-15 minute walk from Girona train station to your first hotel in Girona or a five-minute taxi journey.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
