The cycling tour is the perfect combination of the most important assets of the region, wine, and food! Starting in Dijon, you make your way across the vineyards of the most famous wine villages of Burgundy. In Clos Vougeot, you visit the Castle and experience a gourmet dinner. Cycling along the Cote de Beaune vineyards, you can also taste some of its wine. The tour ends in Beaune where you have the time to visit the city and the famous Hospices de Beaune.
During this cycling holiday, you will spend six nights of accommodation in various 2-star, 3-star, or 4-star hotels.
You will arrive in Dijon and meet with your guide in your centrally-located hotel. There, you will receive your documentation and bikes during the orientation in the evening. Feel free to explore the town during your free time. All meals will be at your own expense on day one.
Riding on day two will take you out into the countryside around Dijon. You will visit some of the nearby vineyards and sites including the Burgundy Canal. You will return to Dijon and stay at the same hotel. Breakfast will be included.
You will ride into the Cotes de Nuit wine country on day two, passing some of the most famous names in Burgundy wines such as Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey Chambertin, and Vougeot. You will visit the Château du Clos Vougeot and stay in your charming hotel with a gourmet dinner included at night. Breakfast will also be included.
You will have a loop ride from Vougeot. You will discover the Burgundy countryside and the vineyards of the Hautes Cotes de Nuits at your own pace. Discover France proposes different cycling options. The area is the center for the region's Grands Crus.
Mainly reputed for its red wines, it also produces a few delicious whites. Wine tastings will be available. Later, you will return to the same hotel with gourmet dinner included. Breakfast will also be provided earlier in the day.
Leaving your hotel, you will pass through the lower vineyard area of Cotes de Nuits and then into Beaune, the wine capital of the region. You will have plenty of time to explore Beaune and its many sites, including the famous Hotel Dieu and the many wine caves in the city. Breakfast will be included.
On day six, you will ride from Beaune towards the Cotes de Beaune vineyard area. You will be able to visit Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chagny, Pommard, Santenay, and then back to Beaune. You will find many opportunities to taste and purchase local wines. You can also taste some of the appellations you visited in one of the caves in Beaune. Breakfast will be included.

During this cycling holiday, you will be provided with scrumptious breakfast daily, served at your hotel, as well as two dinners. You will have the chance to taste gourmet food as well as go wine tasting in the most popular vineyards in Eastern France. Other meals will be at your own expense which gives you the opportunity to explore regional cuisine on your own. You will find all the information needed with the team support in your roadbook.

You can arrive in Dijon via Paris Gare de Lyon by TGV. You will travel for one hour and 35 minutes. The departure city is Beaune. It is two hours and 10 minutes from Paris Gare de Lyon. You can take a train from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Dijon.
