You will stay at Scarp Ridge Lodge during the tour. The former Croatian saloon still has its Wild West facade, but the interiors have been transformed with reclaimed iron from the old mills in town and generous amenities, like an indoor saltwater pool and rooftop hot tub. Scarp Ridge Lodge invites guests to kick back and relax as if they were at home.

Guests have access to the open kitchen and its well-stocked fridge 24/7. A five-stool bar, stocked with craft Colorado spirits and fine wines, opens into the media room, which features a drop-down projector screen. Active guests can swim in the indoor saltwater pool or hit the fully equipped gym. After a day of hiking or tackling singletrack, recover with a steam or sauna and stargaze from the rooftop hot tub.

Each of the six guest rooms is slightly different, with a mix of elegant and rustic touches, including earth-toned furnishings, jute rugs, and exposed wood beams. The seven-bed bunkroom, modeled after the board game Chutes and Ladders, is every kid’s dream. If you are visiting from sea level, an oxygen-enriched air system can be activated by the flip of a bedroom switch to help fight the effect of high altitude, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
