Overview

This trip is a great introduction to the incredible riding found in the Moab area. The e-bikes will allow you to travel farther and faster than you can imagine. This spectacular tour is perfect for cyclists new to mountain biking and groups of mixed ability levels.

Day 1: Klondike Bluffs / Sovereign

You’ll begin your week on a true Moab classic, the Klondike Bluff trail. During the ride, you’ll pass imprints of three-toed dinosaurs that tramped across mud flats and river bottoms about 170 million years ago. At the turn around point, you’ll hike across the trail’s namesake bluffs, which erode to bonnets and elephant toes atop fractured fins and alcoves. Features of Arches National Park can be seen in the distance, backed by the scenic La Sal Mountains. Other nearby options for the afternoon includes the motorized two-track and single-track on the Sovereign Trails!

  • Total mileage: 15 - 30 miles
  • Terrain: 65% Jeep road, 35% single track, midday van support lunch stop
  • Inns: Local handpicked bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Dead Horse Point / Gemini Bridges

The intrepid trail system at the Dead Horse Point State Park offers 16.6 miles of e-biking single-track trails! The trails wind through juniper and pinion trees, over Slickrock and mixed terrain and offer spectacular views into the canyons below including Canyonlands National Park. Trail difficulty ranges from moderate to intermediate and can be enjoyed by all levels of riders. You will enjoy a delicious lunch on a spectacular overlook before shuttling over to the Gemini Bridges Road area where you will hike out to the twin sandstone arch formations of Gemini Bridges.

  • Total mileage: 20 - 30 miles of pedal assist mountain-biking
  • Terrain: 60% single-track, 40% Jeep trail, multiple van support opportunities
  • Inns: Local handpicked bed and breakfast

Day 3: Porcupine Rim / Fin's and Things

Today’s adventure starts with a 20-minute shuttle up the Sand Flats Road where you’ll start the Porcupine Rim Trail. This famous jeep trail will challenge your climbing skills, making you thankful for the pedal assist on your bikes. After reaching the viewpoint, you will enjoy a snack and take in the views of Castle Valley. The return ride on the trail is one of the more technical downhills of the week. You will add more downhill to your route by connecting to your second ride of the day on the Fin’s and Thing’s jeep trail.

  • Total mileage: 20 miles (both options)
  • Terrain: 100% jeep trail, limited van support
  • Inns: Local handpicked bed and breakfast

The road starts with a smooth climb but shortly turns into some fun rocky terrain for you to pick your line’s through. The ride ends soon after you pass through a beautiful riparian zone along Mill Creek. You will take a break for lunch, then head over to some of the best scenery in the country; Arches National Park.
