Included excursions

Volcano hiking (three hours)

All through Fuerteventura, volcanoes have been dormant for thousands of years, exploring the perfectly preserved craters is still a must, when visiting this beautiful island. The guides will take you to the ones with the most exquisite views and amazing (hi)stories. Some of the volcanoes and mountains are overrun by hungry chipmunks, others with prehistorical engravings. Some, you will conquer by foot, some you can do by E-bike, alongside some other highlights of the island, either secret or popular.

Hike excursion through the ‘Las Peñitas’ canyon and caves of ‘Ajuy’ (six hours)

A one-hour road trip will take you to a true Fuerteventura oasis. Barranco de las Peñitas is a hidden yet spectacular jewel of the island, a setting of many Hollywood productions. After an active hike of about one and a half to two hours, you will continue your road trip with a short 10-minute ride to the caves of Ajuy. Emerce in the local life of the small fishing village and visit the beautiful caves. This is an easy 30-minute walk along the ocean and its stunning cliffs on the west coast before you enter the impressive caves. You will finish your tour with a delicious tapas lunch in a typical local restaurant.

Guided e-bike tour

There is no better way to discover hidden treasures and see the island from a different perspective than immerse in a mystique volcanic landscape on an e-bike that will take you far away without breaking too much of a sweat. E-biking is a fun and active way to really get to know Fuerteventura and feel all of its energy and power that hides in between the ancient volcanoes. Your guide will take good care of you right from the get-go. First, they will explain how e-bikes work and provide you with safety equipment.

You do not have to worry about anything. E-bikes are suitable for any level of fitness and age. You decide the pace. Your guide will be there to support you and help you use the e-bikes to their very best, with your safety as the first priority in mind. Along the way, the guide will share a few of Fuerteventura’s secrets and make you enjoy the island from a different, yet active and fun perspective.

Two days of digital guided e-bike tours (app)

After a guided tour, you know how to use the e-bikes to their best and you have a great impression of the island. Now you can be totally independent on a self-guided e-bike tour. Pack a bag for a day out on the island with the optimized app, you can download great routes on your mobile device and let technology take you to those hard-to-reach places.

Trip to Los Lobos Island with a hike and beach time

Another unforgettable excursion is a half-day trip to a nearby isolate, Los Lobos. There, you will start your hike all around the island and conquer the top of the highest peak. After an approximately two-and-a-half-hour walk, you will stop at the natural pools and take a dip in the beautiful turquoise lagoons. If you feel like skipping the hike, you are very welcome to lay down the towel and just enjoy the magnificent bays. Los Lobos is a definite must when visiting Fuerteventura, you will instantly understand why.

The holiday will take place in Corralejo, Spain. The former fishing village of Corralejo is located in the north of Fuerteventura. The variety of old traditions mixed with modern style makes this town echo a warm and personal vibe. It is surrounded to the north and east by the Atlantic Ocean, by dunes to the south, and by arid desert land to the west that leads to the western coast and El Cotillo. The area has 11 kilometers of fine sand beaches just outside of Corralejo, alongside some smaller bays across the coast.

In addition, there are several miles of sand dunes located nearby, which have been designated as a nature reserve. The waters around Corralejo are clear and an intense shade of blue. The town’s beaches are somewhat more sheltered and have a band of volcanic rock along the shoreline. Urban Sunset hotel and the Surf Hotel are a 25-minute walk from the yoga beach, which is a beautiful quiet morning walk by the shore; five to 10 minutes walk to the town center, cafes, and restaurants; 10 to 15 minutes walk to swimming beaches; and three minutes walk from the supermarket.

  • Supermarket - 3 minutes walk
  • Town center, cafes, and restaurants - 5 to 10 minutes walk
  • Swimming beaches - 10 to 15 minutes walk
  • Yoga beach - 25 minutes walk

The food is self-catering, but there are amazing cafes and restaurants with a diverse offer, not too expensive, all over Corralejo, and we like to give out our recommendation guide/booklet with our favorite ones. We strongly believe that eating out and trying out local cuisine is a must when you are in Corralejo, an experience on its own.

Our guests usually like to meet up for dinner and go eat out together. Tapas lunch in a local restaurant is included in the excursion to Ajuy Caves.
