The MS Theodor Körner is a nostalgic boat of traditional architecture with ample space and a very comfortable atmosphere. The crew is at your disposal and the restaurant awaits you with regional and international specialties.

The boat offers a restaurant with a small library and parlor games with air-conditioning, a panorama bar, café with a sun terrace, and a well-sized sun deck with deck chairs. In the evening, a musician plays dance music.

There are three passenger decks, the promenade deck, upper deck with windows to open, and the main deck. The Theodor has 60 outside cabins, approximately eight to 16 square meters, and comfortably equipped with large windows, a shower or water closet, satellite TV, hairdryer, safe, and air-conditioning.

The two-bed eco cabins have two bunk beds, eight to nine square meters in size. The two-bed rooms have beds side by side and are 10 to 11 square meters in size. The junior suite has a double bed and is more spacious, 13 to 16 square meters in size. An extra bed is available in the junior-suite as a sofa and in the two-bed cabin in the promenade deck as a bunk bed.

The MS Theodor Körner is 87 meters in length, 17 meters in width, is 170 meters in its depth of flotation, has a maximum speed of 25 kilometers per hours, has 65 cabins, and hold a maximum capacity of 135 passengers.

You will stay in Passau, Germany on night one.

Day 1: Individual arrival in Passau

You will enjoy a stroll through the beautiful old town with the world-largest church organ in the cathedral of Passau and enjoy a delicious “Bavarian Lager” in a typical beer garden before your embark the MS Theodor at approximately 04:00 p.m.

Day 2: Mauthausen – Grein (approximately 22 miles / 35 kilometers)

A beautiful original landscape along the Danube cycling path awaits you on day two. Explore on your cycle route the idyllic backcountry of the Strudengau region. Experience Grein, a lovely medieval city with baroque facades, the oldest theater, and the Greinburg Fortress.

Day 3: Devin – Bratislava (approximately 27 miles / 43 kilometers)

The fortification of Devin, one of the oldest castles of Slovakia, offers a miraculous view of the national park to Danube meadows. You will cycle along the former iron curtain by the field march to the imposing Castle Hof with its splendid terraced garden which counts as the nicest baroque gardens of Europe. A small piece of untouched nature follows shortly after you are in the pulsating metropolis of Bratislava.

Day 4: Vienna (day at leisure)

During a bike sightseeing tour, you will have the opportunity of exploring the impressive buildings of the great city. You will cycle slowly past world-famous sights such as the Prater, St. Stephan Cathedral, and the Imperial Palace. The magnificent buildings along the Ringstraße are a remembrance of ancient times.

In the afternoon, you will have spare time visiting one of the traditional Viennese coffee shops and in the evening, you can visit a waltz or operetta concert in the Wiener Kursalon.

Day 5: Wachau or Krems – Melk (approximately 23 miles / 37 kilometers)

Day five is a truly special highlight! The landscape with rolling hills will enchant everybody with lovely picturesque villages, apricot trees, vineyards, fortresses, monasteries, and ruins. It will be pure cycling pleasure! In Weißenkirchen, wine tasting is possible. You definitely should have a break in one of the charming wine taverns.

Day 6: Melk – Grein (approximately 31 miles / 50 kilometers)

The day's cycling route, a true highlight during your holiday, will bring you through the great landscapes of the Strudengau and Nibelungengau to the magnificent baroque Benedictine Abbey of Melk, a must for every cycling tour from Passau to Vienna.

After an illuminated journey through the Wachau Valley, on board the MS Theodor Körner, you will reach the garden city of Tulln.

Day 7: Donauschlinge or Obermühl – Engelhartszell (approximately 16 miles / 25 kilometers)

Quite near and right in the middle, you will enjoy cycling through the Upper Danube Valley, among lovely villages and original scenery. Little romantic restaurants along the way invite for a stop and the smell of freshly grilled fish from the Danube is in the air.

Austria's only cloister is located in Engelhartszell, the day's final destination. The Engelszell cloister is also famous for its aromatic herbal schnapps and herbal liqueurs. After a ceremonious gala dinner, the crew of the Theodor MS Körner will present a small show program that will surprise you.

Day 8: Arrival in Passau – individual departure or extra nights

Every holiday comes to an end. You will enjoy, again, the peaceful Danube Valley, a last glance onto the Schlögener Schlinge, before reaching Passau with wonderful impressions. You will disembark at approximately 09:30 a.m. and any transfer reservation for your departure should be arranged from approximately 11:00 a.m.
