You will be accommodated at three / four-star hotels including Hotel Java, Hotel THB Sur Mallorca, Hotel THB Felip, Hotel Eix Platja Daurada, and Hotel Marina & Wellness Spa.

Program

Day 1: Individual arrival to Playa de Palma

Upon arrival for your cycling holiday on Majorca, take a taxi from the airport to your first hotel.

Day 2: Playa de Palma - Colònia Sant Jordi (approximately 34 miles / 55 kilometers)

In the morning, you will receive your tour information for your cycling holiday at a personal information meeting. The first stage of your bike tour leads along the coast to Capocorb Vell, the realm of the Cyclops (ruins of native inhabitant dwellings). The typical windmills are along the way of your bike route to the salt fields of Llevant with its pink and white shimmering salt lakes. In the fishing village of Sant Jordi, more sandy beaches with crystal clear water await you on your cycling holiday.

Day 3: Colònia Sant Jordi - Porto Cristo / surrounding (approximately 34 - 40 miles / 55 - 65 kilometers)

Via Ses Salines, you are cycling to the botanical garden, Botanicactus, with its 50,000-square-meter tropical vegetation and its 10,000-square-meter man-made lake. You will continue your Majorca cycle tour to the picturesque bay near Cala Santanyi and enjoy a swim stop. Then, your bike route on the Balearic Islands leads you through little fishing villages to the famous natural bridge‚ Es Pontàs. Near Porto Cristo, you will reach the dragon caves with bizarre shapes and wall paintings. The visit of the limestone cave system of the Cuevas del Drach is recommended for lasting memories of your cycling holiday in Spain.

Day 4: Porto Cristo / surrounding - Can Picafort (approximately 37 miles / 60 kilometers)

Your third stage of the cycle route will lead you via the sleepy village of Son Carrio to Manacor. Here, you will find the factories producing the famous artificial pearls called Majoricas. Countless little shops offer souvenirs and handmade ceramic everyday objects. Then, you will continue your cycle tour via Santa Margalida through one of the most enchanting landscapes of the island to Can Picafort. Long sandy beaches, with a view onto the sea will accompany you during your cycling holiday on Majorca.

Day 5: Port de Pollenca / Alcúdia (approximately 25 miles / 40 kilometers)

You do not need to pack your suitcase today as you will stay for another night in Can Picafort. Today's cycle tour leads through a bird park (nature reserve) to the Bay of Pollensa (Roman port). Afterward, you will continue to cycle along the coast until you reach Alcúdia (the oldest city of the island) and back to Can Picafort.

Day 6: Can Picafort - Port de Sóller (approximately 31 miles / 50 kilometers plus bus transfer)

Today, your bike tour will lead inland through Muro and Inca to the mountain landscapes of the Sierra de Tramuntana. A bus transfer is arranged for you to the Santuari de Lluc (possibility for sightseeing). Afterward, you continue your bike tour on 1,200 meters above sea level past a large water reservoir before you continue down to Fornalutx (the most beautiful village in Spain), and partly through orange and lemon plantations to Port de Sóller, one of the most charming fishing villages of the island. Enjoy an excellent paella meal in Fornalutx (inclusive), served at a restaurant's terrace.

Day 7: Port de Sóller - Playa de Palma (approximately 6 miles / 10 kilometers plus train journey)

Today, you will reach Port de Sóller by tram (not included). Enjoy a journey on the nostalgic train through the valley of oranges down to the capital Palma (picking fruits is prohibited during the train ride.). There, a guided tour of the beautiful old town awaits you. Later, you will continue cycling on the bike route along the coast to Playa de Palma.

You can depart individually or add extra nights after the tour.

Luggage transfer

OO TOURISTIK transports your luggage from hotel to hotel as far as the last hotel of your package tour. For the return journey, you have to take over the organization and responsibility for your luggage. They cannot give reimbursement for damaged objects or held responsible for valuables kept in your luggage. Abrasion, similar for flying, cannot be taken into account. OO TOURISTIK kindly asks you not to bring bulky luggage or luggage with more than 20 kilograms. Please note that per person, only one piece of luggage is transported.

During this bike tour, you will be served six half board buffets, except in Port de Sóller where you will be served breakfast only. You will also go to Fornalutx for a special paella lunch including wine and to Petra for a Majorcan lunch snack.
