Check-in Time:

All rooms on this tour are in 3 or four star hotels and B & B's with breakfast included. Choice may differ from those listed.

Day 1: Annan to Moffat (dip your wheel in the harbor)

A gently undulating route which rises from sea level to 110m in 55K. We leave Annan on quiet country lanes and cycle routes passing Ecclefechan. Passing through Lockerbie there is an opportunity to visit the Memorial Garden. Our stop for the day, Moffat has many claims to fame the narrowest hotel and the shortest street in Scotland being just two of them. Our shortest day gives you plenty of time to explore the town. Room will be in one of the many 3 start hotels available.

Day 2: Moffat to Innerleithen (Devil's Beef Tub)

After a relaxing breakfast we head north and uphill almost straight away. A choice of routes out of the town is available but all routes lead to the Devils Beef tub view point. Today we also reach the highest point of the route. There are amazing views along the Tweed valley a landscape photographers dream. A ride of just over 70Km takes us to Peebles and our lodgings for the evening.

Day 3: Peebles to South Queensferry.

The longest day of the trip at 77 Km. As we get closer to Edinburgh civilisation begins to encroach. Roads get busier. The end is in sight though and we do not need to keep to the designated route so if you want to swing into the city before dipping your wheel into the Forth feel free. You are a C2C'er
