On night one, you will stay at the three-star Sunrise Central Hotel in a deluxe room with no window. The deluxe room is on 20 square meters. It features a choice for double or twin beds, a tea or coffee maker, complimentary bottled water, free Wi-Fi internet, an in-room safe, electric key lock, IDD phone, mini bar, cable LCD TV, smoke detector, and a sprinkler system.
On night two, you will stay at the local three-star Mekong Rustic Homestay in Tien Giang. Situated on one of the most beautiful islands on the Mekong River, Cai Be Town, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Rustic stands beside Cai Be floating market among fruit gardens which emphasize the beautiful but seldom visited rural areas on this side of the Mekong River.

At Chau Pho Hotel, rooms are checked for good quality and regularly maintained to guarantee their sustainability as well as luxury, comfort, and cleanliness. Staying at Chau Pho Hotel, you will find the accommodation and facility luxurious and sufficient with rooms that have large windows and are bright and airy where you can view nice landscapes outside.

Welcome to Vietnam! Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City (HCM), the team will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. You will first adjust the bikes to your height and then you can either rest from your journey or wander around central HCM City. HCM City is the vibrant and commercial hub of Vietnam. Note that the standard check-in time is 02:00 p.m.
You will be picked up by your bike guide at 07:30 a.m. from your hotel and you will take a one and a half hour drive out of Saigon or Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Cai Be floating market. It is one of the most famous floating markets in the Mekong Delta. It is a wholesale market where tropical fruits and vegetables are sold. If you want to know what they sell, you can recognize them from their bamboo poles. The vendors hang what they sell in front of the boats.
You will stop in the riverside villages and then take a short walk around to see how the locals make coconut candy, popcorn, and rice crispy. In the afternoon, you will have a bike ride around Cai Be and along the system of the Upper Mekong River. You will see the local riverside market on the way, the best one for tourists to have a look around. Thereafter, the team will transfer you to your accommodation in Tien Giang for some relaxation and your and overnight stay. Breakfast will be provided.
You will pass the Rach Mieu Bridge and keep cycling on country roads towards Que Son. The roads are remote winding roads under a green canopy, coconut palms that make the region of Ben Tre famous. It is far from tourists and the bustle of HCM City! On arrival in the town of Ben Tre, you will take a boat trip around the village. In the afternoon, you will shuttle by minivan over the Ham Luong River and use the ferry. Following which, you will keep cycling to Tra Vinh where you will stay overnight.
The first destination on day four is Tieu Can. There, you will discover the beautiful Theravada Pagodas and encounter the Khmer monks who are originally from Cambodia. A short cycle ride later, you will visit the fascinating Ang Pagoda.
You continue to cycle another 21 kilometers to Tra On and take a short ferry trip to Luc Si Thanh islet. Once there, you will drive with the van to the Cai Cu harbor and take the ferry to Can Tho, where you will stay overnight. Breakfast will be provided.
You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will be free all day for some relaxation, swimming, or shopping in the town center. Lunch and dinner will be at your own arrangement for more flexibility. You will stay overnight in Can Tho.
After a very early breakfast, you will ride on a narrow paved road via the Cai Rang floating market. You will weave through the morning traders, as you pedal along the banks of the very busy river. Taking in another market, you will continue on to Phong Dien Village. There will be a 30-minute transfer to the town of Long Xuyen where you will stay overnight at a hotel.
After a short and early morning transfer to Tri Ton, the cycling will start to undulate as you ride closer to Chau Doc. In the afternoon, you will cycle to the killing fields of Vietnam in Ba Chuc, where Pol Pot’s regime massacred over 3,000 Vietnamese in 1978. The route loops around to Chau Doc along with the border.
Overnight at the hotel for the final night in Vietnam. Breakfast will be provided. If you still have some spare time, you can also visit the Tra Su Forest which has a great variety of birds and animals, of which some are listed in Vietnam’s Red Book.
You will have breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will transfer HCM City for the departure. Note that the standard check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
During this cycling holiday, you will be provided with eight delicious breakfasts as well as snacks and two bottles of water during the biking tour. You may want to avail full-board meals. At an additional cost, you will be provided with six lunches and five dinners from day two to eight. You can be served with a Vietnamese set menu at a local restaurant or local house upon availability.
On day one, you may want to explore Ho Chi Minh City. It is a diverse city of the old and the new with many street food stalls, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and colonial French buildings. Feel free to stop for a cool beer or an iced coffee and watch the world go by.
